Jennifer (Jen) Pagán, LCSWPsychotherapistHello! My name is Jennifer (Jen) Pagán. My pronouns are she/her/ella. I am a licensed certified Latina social worker, bilingual in Spanish. I graduated with my Master in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin with a concentration in Administration and Policy Practice. Over the course of my career, I have worked with diverse populations in various social service settings providing individual and group counseling. I’ve partnered with children, young adults and Spanish speaking families. I am passionate about supporting young adults that may be struggling with transitional periods in their life or feeling difficult emotions and don’t know where to start. My ideal client is someone who might be experiencing anxiety and stress that feels overwhelming, and is looking for someone to guide them in finding inner peace, deep connection, and clarity in their life decisions.
In my free time, you can find me spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling the world, trying a new restaurant, or taking fitness classes. I use a relational and strengths-based approach in working with clients and the relationships they have in their lives. In my sessions, you will experience my approach to be empathic, curious, nurturing and transparent as I compassionately guide you to explore challenging patterns causing disconnection in your life. I am here to help you deepen your self-awareness with the goal of facilitating a therapy journey that both repairs and enlightens your world view. I can also provide a faith-based therapeutic approach as requested. Allow me to hold a safe space for you whether your struggle has deep roots or is only a temporary challenge, whether you're in a crisis or looking to feel understood. Therapy can be an uncomfortable place to walk through and I am here to walk alongside you as we lean on the hard stuff and facilitate a healing process that is most authentic to you. I hope to create a trusting, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship that helps you with self-exploration, relieves you from shame, and moves you towards restoration and liberation. |
